Wedding Frequently asked questions

Do I need a trial?

Short answer is no. We can have a zoom or FaceTime meeting to discuss your needs and ideas to ensure you are prepared with extensions (if needed) and accessories, often this call is enough and won’t need a trial. If you are unsure and wish to have a trial, I preform the trial within the month of the wedding.

Your trial will be a very loose representation of how your hair will look on the day. I use trials to see how your hair behaves, to understand your unique texture and weight. We’ll need to decide on extra tools or accessories e.g. clip in extensions, padding etc, which you will need to purchase before the wedding. This will all be discussed and explored. Please note, I can’t guarantee the date you wish to have a trial will be available, please keep this in mind for flexibility.

How long will it take?

We allow 45-60 minutes per person for hairstyling on the wedding day, this is dependant on the style chosen and each person’s hair type.

Do we need dirty hair?

We need clean freshly washed hair, please wash and dry your hair the night before. Anyone wanting a blow dry on the day ca wash their hair the morning of the wedding and we will take care of the rest.

When do we start?

We aim to have everyone’s hair finished 45 minutes before your departure time, this allows enough time for you and your bridal party to finish getting ready and final touch ups before we leave. Start time reflects number of hairstyles needed, we can negotiate this depending on your needs on the day.

Helpful Tips

  • If you colour your hair, please do so the week before
  • Please do not cut your hair before the wedding. Please leave it alone for at least 6 weeks before your date
  • Drink water! The white of your eyes brighten when we’re hydrated. Drink plenty of water the week before your date.
